First and foremost, this spa bathroom features a color palette of natural tones. The absence of bright colors and eye-catching accents creates a sense of tranquility and harmony. In this bathroom, we used large 120 x 120 cm Piet Boon tiles on the floor and shower wall. Thanks to the large Piet Boon tiles, fewer grout lines are needed, creating a sense of space in the bathroom. We further enhance this effect by using tiny Piet Boon tiles behind the vanity. Besides a subtle contrast in texture, these tiles add warmth and ambiance to the spa bathroom.

A sustainable wellness bathroom with a modular bathroom cabinet

The vanity unit is an essential part of any luxury bathroom or spa. The photo shows a special modular combination: two Mastello Duuk vanities in walnut brown side by side. Modular vanities are available in various sizes, making them easy to adapt to the bathroom you want to transform into a spa. Place two vanities side by side—as shown in the photo—or create your own combination. You could also place an open console between the two cabinets for towels, for example. But modular vanities are unique in more ways than one: you can also replace the side panels and fronts! This way, you don't have to buy a whole new vanity unit when you're ready for a new spa look in your bathroom.

A wellness shower wall and bath: transparent black

All the glass in the room is dark, creating a sultry and luxurious atmosphere. The shower enclosure, for example, is made of smoked glass, a unique material that perfectly complements the spa look of this bathroom. And let's not forget the size of the shower enclosure: it reaches all the way to the ceiling. A lower shower enclosure would require a stabilizer bar, which creates unnecessary lines. This, in turn, creates clutter—something undesirable in a spa bathroom. The smoked glass complements the basins and the transparent black tub perfectly. The large round mirror adds to the soft ambiance of this spa bathroom. This is due to its rounded shape, which is reflected in the curves of the tub, basins , and faucets . The mirror also features subtle LED lighting that highlights the tiny tiles on the wall behind it. Another convenient feature is the integrated heater, which prevents the mirror from fogging up during showering or bathing.
